1. What was the climax of the story? Some of you have already talked about this in class, but I want each group to come to a consensus.2. What was the social commentary?3. Why did you like/dislike the novel? Don't just say "I thought the story was good"... I want some opinion and thought, here! Also, I don't want you to write "it sucked" without backing up your opinion with some good, critical comments. Think of a movie review. Those reviewers never just say "it sucked"... they give evidence and details.And... it's okay to dislike your book!
1. The climax of the story is when Bernard and Lenina went to the rest- house where they met John aka "The Savage", and Linda.
2. The social commentary in this book is when the world starts to become more and more modernized, we will forget the important events had happened in the past.
3. I actually enjoyed reading the book but the only problem is that I had to read it in a very limited of time. When I keep reading, I can imagine what is happening and feel how the characters feel. In the beginning, I thought that this book was going to talk about a man's life since he was born until he dies, but I was wrong.

Questions
The author put some appealing characteristics into his hypothetical world because he thinks that in the future, everything will be so modernized that there is no need for people to care about what they are suppose to do or not. Not everything from out time will be totally gone in the future.
Brave New World matches the satire model we discussed in class because in the future, we see everyone being happy and having children of their own but in the book, in order to be happy, they have to take medicine and they can't have children the "normal" way, instead, babies are being born in incubators. And children are suppose to like reading and flowers and all that other good stuff, but in the book, they were taught at a early not to like them at all.

Setting
The setting of the book is in A.F.632. They are in a squat grey building of only thirty-four stories. The building is called CENTRAL LONDON HATCHERY AND CONDITIONING CENTRE. The tone is very serious.
